20th day.
fire fighting is fun. hah! i din get wet! at least at first. before mel, agnes and eve came to hug me like mad. my whole back was damp.
it was tough, but we had our fill of excitement.
really. the pressure of the water is so strong that nan and i almost fly when that zy let go of her bloody hand (jus to adjust her specs). she was suppose to push me forward so that the pressure wont cause me to fall on my back. and i was the no. 2 man. the pressue almost caused 2 ppl to fly. luckily loke kee was there to hold the hose.
i did become the nozzleman eventually. and it was cool. cant look straight since the water is like splashing so big. it was powercone that time. the nozzle is really heavy la. loke kee faster rush to me when nan wanted to change nozzleman. he helped me to grip the nozzle cos it was too heavy. nearly dropped. i din manage to turn the nozzle to change it to jet and then off though. loke kee was the one doing it. haha. i even let of of the nozzle when he was turning it off. luckily he din scold me. lol.
kinkerman is the worst. have to hold the hose and pull it front and back. really tough. no wonder firefighters are so strong with huge muscles. they needed it. really pissed when zy sudd let go of the hose w/o informing and when she's the last person and we are moving. our arms nearly break la! luckily euvin held the hose up. she like risking all our lives. first when we were infront with all the pressure and then when we at the back and using up all our strength.
rolling the hose is fun. i love to step and jump on the hose to make it tidy. and i love to slide on the hose to push the water out. haha. i suppose everyone had fun. even loke kee himself. he got wet! and he wanted to spray the water at us - the dry ones. lol. we like refugees like that running.
oh ya, not to forget the fire retardant suit. lol. paddington bear. so embarrassing.
fun and laughter. firefighting is cool.
