2010. that was fast. 2009 really passed away way too fast. perhaps the university life is really too hectic for me to catch up with. i don even know what i'm doing and tadah, i'm in year 2 sem 2 already. crazy.
had a very good start this year. early in the morning 1130am and i went bugis to get my nails done. repaired that broken nail of mine with acrylic and nail art! best part of it, it's free! hahaha. all thanks to his fren who owns a cosmetic and nail parlour. wonderful!
tadah! new nails for the new year!and next up had a huge serving of lunch at iluma. i din even finish half of the main course due to having too much of the soup. oh well, at least the price is rather satisfactory. walked all the way to suntec with the filled stomach is tiring. plus the immense heat from the sun is torturing. if not for the hippo tour, i would prefer to stay around at some cafe and rest my butt there the whole day.
yes, and thanks to zr, i got to go up the hippo bus! =) sadly, the fun is short. way too short. i think i only sat for 5 stops? and the rain came pouring. it was blazing while i was walking to suntec and then when i finally got to sit, it rained. damn the weather. luckily the bus conductor did not mark anything on the tics. hee, i get to hop on a second time!
this is how bad the weather became. argh.
so we got down at clark quay, both of us squeezed under the tiny umbrella of mine and braved through the rain towards central. central is boring. totally empty. most of the shops up for rental. how saddening. so we walked outside instead. and slowly make our way to douby guat. went on "the lovers' trail". interesting.and then at night, went to karaoke with my sisters. marsiling cc. the outlook of the place sucks. it really looks like some old aunties uncles hangout spot. perhaps because of that, it was cheap! the price is based on per room so just squeeze into the small room and share the cost. for 4 hours we only spent 8 bucks each. the songs are rather new, since the uncle upload new songs every week. well not bad i guess.
and there goes the whole day of my 1st day in 2010. good!
